zap ba lang cake

so this is my first try.FAIL. the picture on recipe book cover is so tempting, but look at my product, sweat. it's the real MOONCAKE. note: the egg must be stirred thoroughly until it becomes thick and creamy, this step is pretty important as it helps 'mix' in air into your ingredients to make your cake spongy and soft.
i tried to make it look like the one on picture as much as possible, LOL. the texture was so hard, throw dog dog die.

since the lesson from the first attempt, we stirred the eggs so hard, everyone was taking turn until all our hands cramp, ok, i exaggerated.

and we succeed!
the cake rose beautifully and the texture was just excellent, and hey, it's in COFFEE flavor!

i gonna try more different type of flavors next time. my aunty-ness stimulated.
